Video: The Best Gold Bull Market I Have Ever Seen

Money manager Peter Grandich has a message that our own Nigel Somerville will be delighted to hear. Peter discusses the potential for this gold bull market and why it’s likely extraordinary. He says that Central Banks are buying at record levels, and many of those buying are doing it for safety reasons. He says  that you should not bet against the Fed and don’t bet against central banks when it comes to gold and hence mining shares have yet to reflect what is happening, and are, arguably, as cheap as they can get regarding the price of gold.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: RIP The man in the Paddington Dungeon, should I report Andrew Bell to the FCA and/or push Steve O'Hara in the River Dee at Sharestock?

If he has that is my greatest loss today although I do also discuss Optibiotix (OPTI) and Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) in detail, the two battering the value of my pension fund. I start by talking you through yesterday's Odd One Out contest explaining the schoolboy error made by Nigel Somerville and others. I look at the Autolus news in relation to Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) where as a loyal shareholder I shall be attending the May 15 AGM in Oxford with a few questions for Neil "nomates" Woodford. I flag up a shocking little episode at Clear Leisure (CLP) which should make you worry about Octagonal (OCT) and Inspirit (INSP) given that their FD is disgraced Niliesh Jagatia  then discuss Management Resource Solutions (MRS) and finally, in detail, Toople (TOOP). Tomorrow I really will read out a Woodlarks heros roll call. Please join that list ahead of then HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the time of year when my hatred of Amazon mounts

I explain why I am cursing Amazon almost daily. I look at redemptions and fund managers a problem lurking under the surface but also how do private investors react to stocks going to zero or doing an IQE (IQE). I look at worrying data from China and then at Utilitywire (UTW) - another Neil Woodford car crash - and at Interserve (IRV). Ouzo for Nigel Somerville soon I sense.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Je parle le Franglais avec les Grenouilles!

In today's podcast I look again at yellow journalism re Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) as covered HERE and the MySquar (MYSQ) fraud. The corrupt deadwood press is part of the problem not the solution. I cover the latest news from MySquar in case I don't have time for a dedicated article. Today is a Joshua day but I hope to write as he takes a nap. I  also look at Mirriad (MIRI), Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN) anmd Haydale Graphene (HAYD) whose news today means that Nigel Somerville will have enjoyed ouzo on his breakflast cornflakes.

I doff my hat to Al Sisto of Tern - he did answer Nigel's questions

Yesterday Tern (TERN) held an online Q&A session and I had wondered whether boss Al Sisto would dodge tough queeries. To his credit he did not. The Nomad blocked a few including one of the three that Nigel Somerville sent it but he answered the rest. I make no comment on his replies. I am no Tern-ologist although its valuation looks demanding to me. But i respect Mr Sisto for facing up to his critics.

Sorry Nigel & Thirsty Paul but I’ve sold all our Sosandar

Nigel Somerville says that he is hanging on for much more and his patience may be rewarded. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: My biggest investment mistakes (and there have been a few) and the BMR Mega scandal for WH Ireland and AIM

I start this podcast by reflecting on my biggest investment mistakes of which selling some Optibiotix (OPTI) three years ago must be in the top ten. Stagging Argo Blockchain (ARB) hjas so far been a small mistake but I reflect on that too. Then I reflect on the bombshell by Nigel Somerville on BMR Group (BMR) which shows AIM Regulation not fit for purpose and opens up a mega scandal for WH Ireland (WHI). What happens next i ask, referring to good news on the claims against Cantor Fitzgerald re African Potash (AFPO)

Thirsty Paul Scott on why Sosandar shares will continue to head higher

Thirsty Paul Scott is meant to be on a sabbatical but has taken time out to post his thoughts on Sosandar (SOS) on a Bulletin Board. While HotStockRockets suggested banking some gains or top slicing on Friday at 34.4p, Paul agrees with Nigel Somerville and reckons the shares are going a lot higher. Whatever one thinks of Thirsty, he knows the retail sector well and opines:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Sterling roofing it #DespiteBrexit - why has Project Fear been exposed thus?

Do not worry it is not all macro babble in today's podcast but I reflect on why Sterling is roofing it and why this also makes the Paul Scott thesis on retailers and consumer facing stocks wrong - more of that on Saturday no doubt! I look at Amur Minerals (AMC) with the 1 question its dumb shareholders need to ask. I intrude on the private grief at Somerville towers regarding Scancell (SCLP) and suggest that there is more to come for poor Nigel. And I look at perennial dog Iofina and what it is NOT saying. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 - THIS SATURDAY - one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Fishing Republic talks a load of carp and a truly spivvy share tip for you all

Buried in this podcast is a quiz question - in what respect is my son Joshua ( aged 16 months) ahead of more than a third of millennials. The answer is at the end of the podcast. I deal again with a woman who thinks citing folks who send death threats to investigate journalists ( i.e. me) gives her a basis for smearing me. I refer of course to Julie Meyer, a woman branded borderline hysterical by a Judge  a few years ago.  I discuss the placing by Fishing Republic (FISH) and its accompanying statement. It is talking carp. Is that a deliberate typo? I look at Filtronic (FTC), have news on Milestone (MSG) it does not want you hearing and comment on Scancell (SCLP) in a way that may annoy its long suffering shareholder Nigel Somerville. Finally I have an uber spivvy share trip for you all.

Andrew Monk of VSA - formal Response to ShareProphets on our AIQ revelations

Nigel Somerville penned two articles on AIQ (AIQ) which, I thought were pretty damning as you can see HERE and HERE. The valuation is clearly bonkers and I say that as a shareholder (by accident not design). Andrew Monk of VSA floated AIQ and has penned this response which I am happy to publish in full as it all seems very comprehensive and reassuring. I really don't know what to think other than that the valuation at the suspension price is bonkers on steroids.

I look at Ambrian (AMBR), The People's Operator (TPOP), Magnolia Petroloeum (MAGP) and how it legged AIM over yet again, at Physiomics (PYC) and finally in depth at Lombard Risk Management (LRM) where the curse of Phil "InterX" Crawford looks set to strike again.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: all Things Fraud and Fright-er-ful

I am pretty much finished here in Greece as I explain in the podcast. And as such I start the journey home tomorrow to spend time in sun-drenched England with the Mrs, Joshua and - of course - Oakley, my utterly pampered three legged cat who is, I gather, now being given iced water to cope with the heat. I look at Thor Mining (THR) where events disgust me and at Ariana Resources (AAU) where I am dissapointed and less accepting than Nigel Somerville is.

For reasons explained year and all down to that snot gobbling bastard Bill Gates I have been offline for most of the weekend. So this bearcast was recorded on Saturday when, smarting from the defeat of the Old Country, I was minded to fire Nigel Somerville. Moving on from that I discuss inter alia: why London's most expensive clown at Fladgate needs to be put to the sword by ourselves and how we deal with unprincipled lawyers. An Open letter to Roland Fatty Cornish – quit Daniel Stewart NOW before the Rob Terry stink kills you off

The revelations today by Nigel Somerville make it clear that Rob Terry is up to his old tricks again with regard to share dealing in Daniel Stewart (DAN). The Camkids FRAUD – An Open Letter to Cairn Financial, Beaufort and AIM Regulation – suspend shares in Jiasen NOW!

Earlier today we demonstrated quite clearly (HERE) why Camkids (CAMK) has committed accounting fraud and why the statement of yesterday just does not add up. We have been saying that this company is a fraud for months and months and that is now clear to all. The local auditors of Camkids and the now delisted fraud Naibu acted for two other AIM stocks, one of which is Jiasen (JSI). It is also a fraud and we call for an immediate suspension of its shares as well.

We demonstrated clearly that there are numerous Red Flags for Jiasen HERE

This is a company that – like Naibu and Camkids – claimed to be drowning in cash yet mysteriously also borrows money at punitive rates. We have no faith whatsoever that accounts signed off by Crowe Horwath following the abject failures to report contingent liabilities or bank debt at Camkids and Naibu respectively. We are far from convinced that the stated cash position at either firm – as signed off by Crowe Horwarth – was in fact true.

In light of this

Roland “Fatty” Cornish – We will publish any response you may have: here is your Charge Sheet

Co-written with deputy Sheriff Nigel Somerville: Four times, or perhaps it is five, we have asked the AIM Regulation Team to investigate whether Roland “Fatty” Cornish and his firm Beaumont Cornish, is fit to continue acting as a Nominated Advisor (Nomad) in light of our revelations about events at Digital Learning Marketplace (DLM) in 2012. We now publish a full charge sheet. If Fatty wants to exercise a right to reply we will publish it. Pro tem we will pass this too onto AIM Regulation.

The Nomad system on AIM is supposed to be there to protect investors and ensure that company directors stick to the rules of the market and stay within the law. Nomads charge a fee for this, which investors pay for: it is their assets in the plc that pays the bill, after all. This set-up is the investor’s first line of defence.

The Nomad is supposed to check and verify all company statements put out by RNS before release, as well as niceties such as whether the company is in ‘close’ period when it comes to directors’ share dealing, compliance with AIM rules and so on.

And so, with reference to the scandal that was Digital Learning Marketplace plc during 2012, we bring you the role of DLM’s Nomad, Beaumont Cornish, in all of this.

1)      RNSs of 29 Feb 2012 and 1 Mar 2012 – does nobody own a calculator?

Angus Forrest of Tern hits back at “unwarranted abuse” from Tom W & Nigel Somerville

Angus Forrest of Tern (TERN) has asked that we publish in full a letter in which he laments the piss poor journalism of Tom Winnifrith and Nigel Somerville.  We are delighted to publish Mr. Forrest’s letter since we believe it incriminates him even more in scandal.  Our response will follow within thirty minutes. Forrest writes:

Dear Sirs,

These allegations have been made at the UK Investor Show and on the Share Prophets’ website by Nigel Somerville and Tom Winnifrith

The Sherrif of AIM and Deputy Sheriff respond to Angus Forrest of Tern and call for the noose

We are pleased that Angus Forrest has given his side of the story with regard to what went on at DLM in 2012 - HERE. Whilst we believe his explanations fall short of satisfactory, at least he has taken the time and trouble to respond to some of the questions raised but we still call for the noose. Answering his points in turn…

Many unfounded allegations have been made against me and my colleagues concerning our time at Digital Learning Marketplace (DLM).

These allegations have been made at the Investor Show and on the Share Prophets’ website by Nigel Somerville and Tom Winnifrith

I wish to clarify to the readers of Share Prophets that at no time did Mr Somerville or Mr Winnifrith contact or meet me to corroborate any of the allegations made against me or anyone else that has been accused of “malfeasance” across some 15 separate articles. As a result I would like to take this opportunity to publicly respond to as many allegations as I can detect from the various disjointed articles published on Share Prophets.

They are not unfounded. Much of what has been said is based on announcements and documents for which Mr Forrest was himself directly responsible. We note that certain allegations including the misleading CV Mr Forrest posted on the Shareholder Circular which saw him elected to the board of Tern (TERN) are not addressed. Why not? Because no amount of sophistry can hide the fact that Mr Forrest misled.

First,

Tern! Another Forrest own goal, you’ve got the power to fold, you’re uninvestable, another Forrest own goal, Tern!

With thanks to Spandau Ballet, I open what I hope will be my final piece on the matter of Angus Forrest, Bruce Leith and Tern (TERN) – at what point do the non-exec and advisors realize that without regime change this company is uninvestable and will thus go bust? For shareholder’s sake one hopes that point is now.

Deputy Sheriff Comrade Nigel Somerville, of the 1st Oxfordshire Peasants Army laid out the rap sheet against Forrest and Leith in full at the weekend HERE.

Over the past ten days in excruciating detail he and I have shown how at Digital Learning Marketplace (and indeed at Tern) the two men have systematically misled investors with statements that were untrue or by not revealing information germane to the investment case.

Tern is more or less bust anyway

Earlier today one of the deputy Sheriffs of AIM, Comrade Somerville, flagged up massive issues with the CVA agreed by Digital Learning Marketplace (DLM), now Alpha Returns (ARGP) under the watch of Angus Forrest and Bruce Leith, the two men now running Tern PLC (TERN), into the ground. But Deputy Somerville misses out a couple of points which just add to the scandal which, in a just world, would mean Forrest & Leith swinging on a corporate noose this week.

To read Nigel’s article which shows corporate malfeasance in going ahead with the CVA at all but also how the document just does not add up click HERE

Some might say that CVAs are complex and that Forrest & Leith could be forgiven the odd error (albeit some pretty massive ones). But that would be to ignore their track record.

AIM Cesspit Awards 2014 – New Category Announced: Advisor of the Year

We give thanks to Comrade Somerville of the 1st Oxfordshire Regiment of the Peasants Army who has come up with a cracking idea for a ninth trophy to be awarded at the AIM Cesspit awards 2014 ceremony on June 30th “Advisor of the year”

This award will be decided by a Judges Posse headed up by the Sheriff of AIM and will be handed out to the Nomad, broker, lawyer or PR advisor which has done most to further the cause if crony capitalism on the Cesspit

Tern PLC: Angus Forrest & Bruce Leith must go NOW – An Open Letter to Non Exec & Advisor

Nigel Somerville has earlier today (HERE) published the most extraordinary evidence of corporate malfeasance at what was Digital Learning and is now Alpha Returns (ARGP). The two directors exposed by Nigel now run Tern PLC (TERN), another sub scale investment company on the AIM Cesspit. I demand that they be fired NOW!

The FCA and other watchdogs are fully aware of the evidence that Nigel has gathered and investigations are underway. The Non Exec at Tern Laurence Read is an honourable guy and he could choose to wait for the official regulators to act. However the evidence is now out there in the public domain. The Sheriff of AIM has a noose at hand and suggests that Read and Nomad John Wakefield of WH Ireland use it. Forrest and Leith must go NOW!

In that vein I have just written to John and Laurence as follows.

Dear Laurence & John.
